States: The Judicial Power of the United States shall be vested in one Supreme Court, and in such inferior Courts as the Congress may from time to time ordain and establish. Clearly our Founding Fathers intended for Congress (or the People) to be superior to the Judicial Branch for this purpose, or they would have allowed for The Supreme Court to establish their own inferior Courts, rather than Congress. It is my opinion that if Congress can pass legislation establishing a Law, Board or Commission, they can pass legislation dissolving them. The same is true of any Inferior Court Congress may establish. What is your opinion?

Bob Ries

NFC PAC Board Member

America's Palestine Fantasy

Before 1948 every person known as a Palestinian was a Jew. No Arab would use that label. Israel won land by war from Jordan and Egypt only. There was no country called Palestine, no culture, no language, no history, no people called “Palestinians” except Jews...a total invention.

The "Palestinian" ruse was invented by Yassir Arafat, an Egyptian, for propaganda to distract world opinion from his terrorist wars.

I quote an executive committee member of Yassir Arafat’s PLO, Palestine Liberation Organization, Zahir Muhsein, who said in an interview with the Dutch newspaper Dagblad de Verdieping Trouw on March 31, 1977: "The Palestinian people does not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel. Only for political and tactical reasons do we speak today about the existence of a Palestinian people. Jordan, which is a sovereign state with defined borders, cannot raise claims to Haifa and Jaffa, while as a Palestinian, I can undoubtedly demand Haifa, Jaffa, Beer-Sheva and Jerusalem."

I stand amazed at all the EXPERTS pontificating today, either saying nothing because they know nothing, or just remain willing to throw Israel under the bus, until a prominent U.S. presidential candidate has tried to set the record straight.

The shocker is that not every candidate for President agrees with his clear statement of the disturbing facts, that Palestine is an invention of terrorists, with no rights whatsoever. I expect such naïve ignorance from Obama and Hillary, but where are the Conservative Christian Patriots who should be Standing with Israel as I do?

Louie E.
By Mark Skoda, founder of the Memphis TEA Party.

Conservatism, Reaganism and 1980 they shout! RINO’s and off with their heads. And in the case of Mitt Romney, no core convictions, plastic and a flip-flopper. And that’s the nice stuff.

So where is it that the conservative movement wants to go in context of the race for 2012? During my daily radio show and through my tea party activism, I have heard many of the concerns and the often visceral reaction to the ascendancy of Mitt Romney to the Republican nomination. At times, it seems that Mitt Romney was the anti-Christ of the conservative movement. Somehow his life’s experience, changes in viewpoints along with his private and public life have all been in vain according to the chatter of the movement.

But he is also a studied and well-prepared candidate who has honed his skills while seeking the highest office in the land. And it also seems that it is that very preparedness and competence that results in labels which are derogatory at best and destructive at worst. Recently, I had a caller who discussed the implications of the Herman Cain controversy. She said that while she was concerned, she did not believe the accusations. In fact, it was this lack of political skill that also made him seem normal, just like everyday people and that Romney was too prepared, too scripted.

I pointed out that Romney is indeed a competent candidate who has developed an excellent campaign and used his charisma and intelligence to differentiate himself from the rest of the crowd. The question I posited related to heart surgery. While I appreciate the fact that a new surgeon must build experience, I would rather have a really good surgeon who is prepared, competent and skilled while cutting during a delicate procedure. We don’t look for average or “human” when life hangs in the balance.

Mitt Romney has continually suffered the screeds from the purists in the conservative movement and the Tea Party. I find it problematic in that most of these pundits are trying to tear him down while flitting between every other candidate in the roster of what seems to be a daily dose of crash and burn.

In fact it is in this candidate rotation that I find the conservative paradox. On the one hand, conservatives are looking for “anybody but Romney”. This lack of grounding resulted in wishful thinking and lots of emotion without much progress. And with the current crop of declared candidates, these same conservatives moved from Gingrich to Bachmann to Perry to Cain and now likely back to Perry? Doesn’t sound much like firm grounding in support of a real conservative to me!

So now we have the article by Erick Erickson of Red State, whom I have met and for whom I have a good deal of respect. However, his missive is anything but fair or appropriate given the stakes for America in 2012. You may disagree with Romney, but he is hardly Obama and his competence and cool approach to running a national campaign are critical to beating the president in 2012. It will be difficult enough with incumbency, the MSM and the locked in African-American vote. Therefore, while I applaud a thorough and complete assessment of the candidate, I also find that only conservatives seem to eat their young!

Thirty-one years ago, the nation was whiter, more educated, and less secular with the traditional family as a focus of the community. We had more manufacturing and less global competition and the majority of our citizens were paying taxes. The Cold War was in full swing and we had just experienced Jimmy Carter, the oil shock and the Iranian hostage drama. America sought solace in a man who was the great communicator and who could not only focus on those core principles of conservatism, but also on American Exceptionalism.

Today, we have complexity the likes of which we’ve never seen before. In 1980, the US spent $590 billion, experienced a deficit of $74 billion and had accrued debt of $712 billion. Today, we spend $3.6 trillion, have a deficit of $1.3 trillion and accrued debt of $15 trillion. And all this before the impact of entitlements begins to erode our budget further along with an increasing interest carry on our debt.

So, I would hazard to guess that even a “principled” Ronald Reagan would find today’s complexity challenging.

Romney continues to prosecute a national campaign with only Obama in mind. He has prepared himself, firmly established his organization and nurtured mainstream Republican and other activist relationships. He shouldn’t have a cakewalk to the nomination. But to conservatives who continue to change horses in mid race to get on a perceived winner, I ask, where is your core?

Mark Skoda is a syndicated conservative talk show host, blogger and founder of the Memphis TEA Party. He is also president of MPS Broadcasting.

Tea Party Tramples Its Leader

Michele Bachmann initially organized a Tea Party group of 40,000 to march on Washington D.C. Michele was the Tea Party Leader nationally, which encouraged her to run for President. Michele has been examined inside out, vetted publicly and proven by the process to be a worthy and true Conservative Christian Patriot Leader.

Michele won the Iowa Straw Poll and was near the top in national polls. The Tea Party adored Michele Bachmann and she adored the Tea Party. Why then, did Conservative Women shoot Michele Bachmann in the back and leave her for dead, sprinting for another candidate before she hit the dirt?

Handsome Rick Perry grinned at them by announcing and within the hour led the national polls, while Michele lay trampled in the streets. It may have been the fastest abandon ship in history, faster than the speed of sound could record the swoons. Focus groups I have interviewed said they felt more comfortable with a man for President, strong, fewer hormonal swings, tougher to deal with, etc.

Individuals I have interviewed all claim to love Michele, but say simply she is unelectable, which all conservatives were saying about Newt Gingrich.

Today the Tea Party is behind Newt Gingrich, finding him a more trustworthy person than Michele Bachmann to lead our nation. As a Christian Patriot, not a party player, seeing Michel trampled by Conservative Women to get to Handsome Rick, then trample Rick to get to Newt, leads me to wonder where their merry go round will stop...I pray it comes full circle. If Conservative Women cannot support a worthy Conservative Woman with an impeccable track record...what hope is there for a true conservative to be elected President?

Louie E.
